About the role / Segment

Integrated to the Solution Domain Development Physics AS&D team, you contribute, with your knowledge and enthusiasm, to the extension of the functionalities of the Simcenter Amesim simulation software in the field of system simulation for the aerospace and defense domain.

You participate in the development of components and models allowing representing the behavior of systems in the aeronautical field (flight dynamics, combustion, rotating machinery…) as well as the development of pre- and post-processing tools related to the modeling of these systems and their various components.

Area of responsibility

As part of the AS&D scrum team, you contribute to the different aspects of the development cycle:

  • analysis and validation of the expression of need
  • elaboration of the adapted technical solution implementation, testing, and validation
  • Use of the developed models through industrial application cases
  • As part of the team, you also participate to review of the team’s development, maintenance of existing components and correction of identified defects.

Furthermore, you participate in the valorization of your developments and contribute to the support of our users around the globe.

Your qualifications

  • With an Engineering degree or equivalent, you have a first experience in the field of system modeling with simulation tools (Simcenter Amesim, Simulink, etc):
  • You have solid knowledge in engineering sciences, especially in the aerospace and defense sector.
  • You are comfortable with programming languages (C, Python…).
  • You have a very good level of English, both written and spoken.
  • A synthetic mindset, the ability to work in a team, and to lead multidisciplinary projects are the assets to succeed in this role.
