This is an exciting opportunity to join the Payments Corporate & E-Commerce Sales team. Based in Paris, you will take on the responsibility for providing support to the Payments Sales Managers in managing client relationships and driving sales.
Job Summary
As an Analyst within the Payments Corporate & E-Commerce Sales team, you will have the exciting opportunity to support Sales Managers in managing client relationships and promoting sales. You will be involved in preparing client research, industry analysis, and project assignments, as well as reviewing and analyzing transactional data. This role provides a unique opportunity to understand the client’s account structure, cash flow, product usage, and regional/global setup. You will also contribute as the voice of the client in cross-functional partner engagement to ensure alignment with broader firmwide interests and the clients’ objectives. This role is based in Paris and requires fluency in French and English.
Job responsibilities
- Support Sales team on sales pitch materials and prepare client research, industry analysis and project assignments
- Assist Sales team to ensure that clients are receiving agreed services and review and analyze transactional data to identify key trends, risks, pricing/billing inefficiencies.
- Support the team to manage the end-to-end sales cycle including pricing and fee billing set up as well as client accommodations
- Understand the client’s account structure, cash flow, product usage and regional/global setup
- Prepare client account plans, briefing memos and portfolio management reporting
- Contribute as the voice of the client in cross-functional partner engagement to ensure alignment with broader firm wide interests and the clients objectives
- Develop relationships with the team, key stakeholders they are supporting
- Support Sales managers with preparation of proposals and material for internal approvals
- Work with Sales managers throughout the sales cycle to manage pipeline and secure future revenue-generating business
- Coordinate with internal partners to ensure successful implementation, product ramp-up and accurate pricing/billing
- Conduct research on existing client portfolios and prospective clients. Provide fundamental research on current and target market sizing by region
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Master’s degree or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex problems into concise conclusions
- Demonstrates the ability to understand Treasury Services products, pricing philosophy, billing process and procedures, as well as pipeline management
- Relevant banking and treasury experience with ability to demonstrate interest in working with experienced Treasury partners in order to recognize a client’s cash flow needs and apply appropriate banking solutions
- Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Aspire to develop the necessary sales and technical skills to ultimately assume a Sales role
- Results oriented. Able to work under pressure within tight timeframes
- Fluent in French and English
