L’unique site européen Häagen-Dazs est implanté près d’Arras depuis 1992.
Aujourd’hui, l’équipe de +500 collaborateurs fabrique 75 millions de litres de crème glacée par an pour servir et régaler 94 pays.
En 2022, inauguration de son nouveau Centre de Recherches & Développement composé d’une équipe de 50 personnes pour 11 natiolalités différentes. En ce sens, la pratique aisée de l’anglais est incontournable !
JOB OVERVIEW
- Position is within the Haagen Dazs Technology Development team, focusing on ice cream products & processes
- W ork with engineers and scientists to design, develop, and optimize our current and next-generation ice cream processes.
- S upport existing process technologies and develop/commercialize new process technologies
- C ollaborate closely with the broader dairy technical community and requires digital, data, and analytics skills to optimize processes and drive innovation
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- R esponsibility for leading and supporting various process development, optimization, HMM, and commercialization projects across the H aagen Dazs business
- Lead technology development in select ed technical areas guided by 12Q technology roadmaps. Champion knowledge creation, implementation, and stewardship in these areas
- Support existing and upcoming projects related to process improvements, HMM, new product development, and quality
- Collaborate with Dairy Technology experts to build technical expertise and identify opportunities for process improvement and new capabilities within frozen dairy products
- Apply digital skills, data analytics, and modeling techniques to optimize processes and drive innovation. Leverage digital and traditional approaches to advance technical possibilities, drive technical learning and capture big business impact
- Develop & leverage cutting-edge hybrid simulation methodologies and tools, such as multiphysics modeling or hybrid mechanistic modeling / machine learning to drive learning
- Takes accountability to win, has a bias for action, and can independently leverage others
- Manages multiple projects, agile, able to prioritize and be flexible to rapidly changing business needs
- Builds and leverages effective relationships to get things done. Works as “one team” with product applications, engineering, and supply chain partners. Builds and maintains positive and cooperative communications, and collaboration with the team, partners, and key stakeholders
- Innovative thinker, willing to challenge established methods and beliefs
- Strong technical communication skills, with a proven record of effectively sharing technical results and implications with less technical audiences
- Experience in dairy is preferred but not required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or related competitive engineering field and 2+ years of strongly relevant experience
- Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related competitive engineering field and no experience required
- Experience or interest in modeling, simulation, Data & analytics, and/or programming
- Passion for process technology development, technical rigor, and continuous learning, with a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals
- Demonstrated project leadership and initiative with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Ability to balance multiple concurrent priorities
- Self-motivated and technically curious, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to embrace the most challenging problems
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, both within technical groups and cross-functionally. Proven ability to partner and operate effectively in team environments, especially with manufacturing and supply chain partners. Effective when collaborating across teams with diverse backgrounds, skill sets, and objectives
- Strong bias for action and learning mindset. Willing to lean into risk, challenge assumptions, and identify new opportunities
