What your role is

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Finance Manager to join our team. The Plant Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence within our manufacturing operations and will be an integral part of the Plant Leadership Team. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance of the plant, providing strategic insights, championing a continuous improvement mindset, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

This role will also partner closely with the Regional Business Team and will report to the Plant Manager and to the Regional Supply Chain Finance Manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Collaborate closely with plant leadership to provide financial expertise that influences business decisions and drives value for the company.
  • Efficiently navigate the company’s structure and processes to optimize financial decision-making and drive value through strategic initiatives.
  • Champion a culture of ROI-focused decision-making, relentless pursuit of process enhancement, and demonstrate a proven continuous improvement mindset within the finance function and the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Be steward of the plant P&L and balance sheet.
  • Own budget and forecasting as well as variance communication.
  • Support the Global Accounting Organization in Accounting matters.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and procedures and manage internal and external auditors.
  • Manage a team of people, ensure their performance (including objective setting and appraisal) and their development (individual development plan).

What you will bring to the team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar.
  • 10+ years of Finance experience, ideally in Manufacturing.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset (processes, systems, value).
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team in a matrix organization.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as effective communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Green Belt or other process certification.
  • Supply Chain Finance background/experience.
  • Fluent in written and spoken French.
