We’re looking for an executive leader with both strong operational and interpersonal skills to take on the role of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for our France OU business. This leader needs to possess a strong ability to drive strategy and day-to-day operations while managing change. This leader can influence in a matrixed environment, is always data informed and provides insights, problem solving and streamlines execution towards business goals.

Reporting to the Salesforce France CEO, the COO will co-create a broader operational and shared services framework for France bringing together all stakeholders involved in serving our customers. The leader will share and use best practices from the global COOs, COEs and deploy standards and best practices across all the France OU.

He will ensure the OU is customer centric, and correctly implementing our Strategy, while providing adequate data driven insights.

As a Key member of the France leadership team, this role is an active participant, contributor and role model to drive excellence within the OU, leveraging Strategy, Sales Planning, Enablement, and Business development teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Understands and operationalises the end-to-end France business to bring us closer to our customers and help execute our strategy, directly involving Sales Strategy teams, Business Development, Sales, and all the OU functions (CCO teams, Ecosystem, Marketing, etc.)
  • Strategic planning – Provide thought leadership to advise and structure initiatives, identify key themes, develop adequate plans, and make connections of opportunities across functional areas
  • Identify opportunities, strategies and process improvements, maintain and manage priority lists to meet long range plans for growth and profit
  • Drive business management and accountability to achieve our operating goals, and forecast targets
  • Ensure the operational plan is delivered within agreed budgets and timeframes
  • Transformation – Oversee and manage a variety of highly prioritised projects and analysis
  • Lead operational cadence from design to governance
  • Continuous improvement – Provide strategic assessments and operating reviews of new and current business ventures and operations. Create meaningful reporting and insights.
  • When required, act as proxy for the France CEO at meetings, such as: QBR preparation, All Hands Calls/Quarterly Team Call, Resources planning, Global Forecast calls, budget / Territory / Commission planning, and Workcouncil / Labour relations meetings
  • Works across teams to ensure our people, process, systems are built to scale long-term growth
  • Drive internal approval and consensus building
  • Build a work environment that promotes our values, teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, performance feedback / management, and employee engagement
  • Integrates global consistency, systems and needs with regional nuance to best serve the business and drive impact

Desired Experience:

  • Strong sales oriented executive with over 15 years experience in Sales, Strategy, and operational transformation in fast-paced businesses and technology environments.
  • Deep understanding of B2B Sales methodologies and processes, with a track record in solving challenges and trade offs related to business expansion, revenue generation, and GTM strategies.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills to drive change management, collaboration and best practice sharing in a complex multinational organisation.
  • Organised, structured, accountable and able to drive and manage accountability of the wider team on behalf of the CEO
  • Inclusive, influential, and inspirational people leadership, capable of setting a vision, bringing people together and growing and developing talented teams
  • Executive presence and demonstrated success building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing and collaborating in cross-functional environments.
  • Extensive experience in developing ambitious and robust strategies in fast-paced, innovative and competitive business landscapes.
  • Ability to creatively solve problems with limited resources and input.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional communication and relationship building skills with Senior Leadership and C-Level.
