How you’ll make your mark:

You will be joining an agile, empowered organization, focused on providing business value by rapidly creating and demonstrating new approaches to deliver HPE products to customers. The team develops and operates a SaaS platform to fully automate how HPE GreenLake provisions, updates, and monitors our Platform-as-a-Service offerings on our hardware infrastructure across a variety of physical locations (edge, data center, co-lo, cloud). Our business operates across multiple worldwide locations and we highly value a diverse workforce representing differing perspectives and opinions. Although other locations are possible, the preferred location for this role is in Fort Collins Colorado working face to face with a local development team.

The Software Test Lead will help drive the strategy, implementation, and execution of:

  • Automated end-to-end integration testing and bug tracking

  • Automated performance, latency, and scale testing

  • Security audits and penetration testing

The Software Test Lead will need to lead within the team and across multiple HPE organizations. The code base is written in Golang, managed by a modern CICD system, uses unit testing best practices, and is in a constant state of production readiness.

About you:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or compensating experience

  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Broad range of technical leadership and collaboration skills

  • Experience with running a fully automated test and bug tracking environment

  • Experience with a variety of non-functional test methodologies related to performance, latency and scaling

  • Experience with security reviews and audits

  • Experience with automated server, storage, and networking configuration management

  • Experience developing with one or more languages such as Golang (preferred), Java, Python, NodeJS, etc.

  • Experience working with Micro-service architecture, REST, API’s, gRPC, and Message Queues

  • Experience and understanding of Agile framework

  • Understanding of container runtime technologies such as Docker

  • Understanding of orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes

  • Experience or understanding of Test-Driven Development

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Able to learn quickly and work well independently
