Software Architect Developer – Hewlett Packard Enterprise – Austin, TX

You will help architect how HPE provides its product offerings as a service directly consumable by a wide variety of customers.

How you’ll make your mark:

• You work with technologists, architects, and product managers across the company to define and architect new ways to deliver HPE products as a service.
• You will identify, architect, and create the infrastructure that will enable HPE to deliver these new services.
• You will continue to evolve our DevOps CI/CD strategy
• You will assist the engineering teams with design and implementation challenges
• You keep abreast of related industry standards and contribute to enable HPE to make effective use of those standard
• You will drive a unit, integration, system test strategy that will help the team deliver value quickly, with a high degree of quality

About you:

• You have a Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering program, or equivalent
• You have 10+ years of relevant experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• You have outstanding software engineering/development skills
• You have experience using the Golang programming language to create cloud-native applications
• You have experience in data center networking including network protocols, architectures, configuration, and management
• You have experience developing and deploying data center automation
• You are skilled in server configuration, installation, and administration
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are a strong written and verbal communicator with good analytical and problem solving skills.
• You are a team player with a passion for learning, programming, automation, and data analytics
• You have working knowledge in agile development (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and Test Automation (unit, integration, system)

Some experience with any of the following is a plus:

• AWS or other public cloud
• Real time data processing
• Microservices architecture
• SaaS
• Scalable and NoSQL databases
• gRPC and REST interfaces
