- Responsible for new C-level account development with large complex customers with longer sales cycle. These are the top level individual salespeople below the global account level.
- Long sales cycle. ‘C-Level’ (CEO, CFO, CIO) sales. Works with minimal mentorship. (Government)
- Prospecting for new opportunities with government agencies in assigned territory. Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities.
- Developing accounts by meeting with prospective clients to build relationships and understand opportunities before RFPs are released.
- Leading efforts on approved opportunities, including developing the winning strategies, coordinating internal resources, participating in the proposal process, leading communications with the client, etc.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 10 years sales related experience
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
- Sales experience with government agencies
- Background in complex government information technology projects.
- Experience in state and local government IT system and program, Management consulting services sales, payment processing, prepaid government benefits, cloud computing (Government) are preferred. Knowledge of alternative payment technologies and concept of faster payments is a plus.
