Department and Position Overview This position is responsible for developing and maintaining automation solutions for DevOps implementation of components from Engineering team. Job Description Whenever new requests or change requests are received, this position responds with requirements, estimates, and cost/effort of implementation. Then, this position schedules and implements requests based on priority. In highly automated and scaling organization, automation work done by this position is crucial in allowing Engineering team to move faster without any blockers due to broken processes. This position interacts with many teams to ensure automation from end to end with high reliability. Intern Roles & Responsibilities The employee regularly interacts with many teams from engineering, product management, to operations to ensure new automation can be implemented end to end. This employee works with many latest DevOps tools to provide automation. In addition, this employee reviews current environment for performance, stability, and reliability and work on enhancing them where it is needed. – Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. – Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: – Familiarity with one or more of Jenkins, Groovy, Database (mysql), Agile, CICD, Salt Stack. – Experience with Infrastructure Automation.
