As a Trade Support Associate in the Equity Derivatives Sales Support team, you will deliver sales, client, and global operational oversight for the Equity Derivatives business. You will focus on providing post-trade sales support with extensive front office and client interaction. Your role involves understanding the end-to-end trade lifecycle and leveraging your skills to optimize processes and implement solutions. Building a global network of stakeholders is essential, making interpersonal skills a key focus.
Job responsibilities:
- Interact daily with Sales, Trading, Clients, Middle Office, and Global Operations groups, as well as Technology and Project delivery teams.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a Sales Desk, coordinating all aspects of pre- and post-trade support for clients.
- Support multiple Sales desks and Salespeople across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth process from client onboarding to settlement.
- Own a portfolio of clients, serving as the primary contact for any trading-related queries.
- Oversee end-to-end operations for your Sales desk and clients, ensuring exceptional client experiences.
- Manage derivative lifecycle events, including trade bookings, novations, and cash flow events.
- Act as an escalation point for trade lifecycle issues, managing expectations and finding solutions.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment, multitasking high-profile escalations while managing expectations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a conceptual understanding of products and processes.
- Diligent approach to work with a focus on accuracy and precision.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio).
- Clear and effective communication skills, able to convey structured messages to diverse clients and stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Degree educated or JPMorgan Apprenticeship Alumni.
- Experience and understanding of derivatives products.
- Client or investment banking middle office experience.
