Telco Partnerships at Meta is key to our mission to build the future of human connection and the technology that makes it possible. We are looking for a regional program manager to help grow our partnerships across the EMEA telecom landscape. In this role, you will work with both our regional partnerships team and our product teams to develop, scale and manage our product-based partnerships. You will be responsible for coordinating the go-to-market of new and existing partnership programs, and driving the implementation of best practices to maximise program impact for Meta and telecom partners in EMEA. Your extensive experience in the telecom industry combined with your analytical and business mindset will help you propose and champion new features and programs that deliver value to our partnerships.This role requires both execution skills to implement go-to market strategies, as well as strategic and data analysis skills to proactively identify, scope and implement innovative elements to programs, as well as initiate new programs. You will strive in complex and changing environments, with multiple stakeholders and enjoy working with multiple objectives and timelines.

Regional Program Manager, Telco Partnerships, EMEA Responsibilities:

  • Support partner engagements as the program subject matter expert, including contributing to partner account plans, tracking program performance, pitching and positioning new programs to partners, and suggesting optimizations to existing programs
  • Drive regional team’s product know-how, including training partner managers
  • Identify and implement program best practices to optimize regional impact towards goals and long-term success of partnerships
  • Develop partner growth playbooks in partnership with cross-functional teams (i.e. growth levers, tactics, prioritization, metrics)
  • Participate in global program development by identifying and quantifying new market opportunities, providing input to product roadmaps, and advocating their implementation within program and product teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in or with the telecom industry
  • Extensive understanding of telecom business models (e.g. mobile operator or internet service), go-to-market strategies, and understanding of industry business driversUnderstanding of business metrics as relevant to telecom operators and familiarity with technical metrics
  • Experience with, or interest in developing and optimising products through a quantitative process (e.g. program/product management for an internet company, data products for a mobile operator, or growth hacking)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills – experience working with large sets of data, and making decision based on the quantitative analysis and processing of incomplete data sets
  • Demonstrated impact of emotional intelligence, including relationship building, influencing, and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team
  • Business acumen: listening, negotiating, influencing
  • Communication skills and experience in delivering concise, structured, and effective presentations
  • At ease working in a fast changing environment with ambiguous and sometimes conflicting constraints
  • Comfortable working across time zones, remote teams and cultures. Ability to travel internationally, up to 30% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in other related industries – payments, fintech, data management, advertising
  • Understanding of the mobile device (handset) ecosystem and dynamics (equipment manufacturers, OS, applications) and experience in working with stakeholders of that ecosystem
  • Interest and experience in driving new programs from scratch (understand the problem, create solutions, justify a business case, influence product roadmaps, define a playbook for scale)
  • Project Management certification (Prince 2 or PMP) or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Fluency in French, Spanish, or German
