We are looking for a dynamic, organized, self-starter to join as a Communications Manager in the EU DSP Team. This role will be responsible for building best-in-class communications and content that result in high levels of trust and engagement with new and existing Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) joining Amazon.

This candidate will have strategic communications and program management skills and experience.

Exercising high judgment in narrow time frames, particularly by injecting logic and care into strategic communications targeted at DSPs, is critical. You will demonstrate Insist on the Highest Standards regarding DSP-facing communications and content. Our environment is fast-paced and requires a candidate who is flexible and thrives in ambiguity, with the ability to think big while paying careful attention to detail.

Key job responsibilities
• Create high-quality, engaging communications with your team that support DSPs through their life-cycle
• Measure the effectiveness of communications
• Identify emerging topics and develop proactive plans with stakeholders, ensuring effective and tailored communications towards our audience
• Develop and nurture cross-team relationships to help shape your understanding of the business
• Propose, execute, and scale new ways of creating and distributing communications that expands organizational program awareness and adoption globally
• Explore opportunities to communicate which are bar raising in both content and delivery
• Identify and drive process improvements
• Analytical and quantitative skills are required – ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs

A day in the life
We write a lot and “are right a lot”! We respond to business needs and develop messaging for change announcements. We also interview DSPs to build compelling spotlight and advocacy stories. We own multiple channels by which we communicate to our DSP Owners, including the Communication Center, a newsletter, an internal social forum, and in-person/online events. We partner effectively with other content creator teams at Amazon to bring consistency and amplify our storytelling efforts.

About the team
The EU-DSP Communications Team is made up of 10 high-performing Communicators. Even though we are based in different cities across Europe and UK, we have a highly inclusive and collaborative culture. We approach each other with respect and humility and have fun making history, together. DSPs count on us to provide helpful and trustworthy information so they can operate their business efficiently and focus on what matters most to them, i.e., building a safety-first culture, developing their team and delivering millions of smiles in their communities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• English speaker and writer & to ensure a diversity of languages within our Team, we are looking for someone who is fluent in French, another European language or Arabic.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Communications, Marketing or Program Management or related field
• Highly developed and polished written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organization skills and ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Good balance of creative and analytical skills
• Strong sense of brand and editorial voice; the ability to harmonize message across multiple channels and marketing vehicles
• Strong project management skills and experience, including managing internal stakeholders and multiple projects at once
• Experience creating and executive events and scripts with impact
• Knowledge of the latest creative marketing trends
Comfort and experience with marketing analytics tools and concepts
