About the role:

We have a new exciting position open for the role of Senior Data Analyst.

We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics that will be responsible for modelling data to provide clean, accurate datasets so that different users within the company can work with them. The role entails transforming, testing, and documenting data.

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and data requirements.
  • Utilize SQL, Spark, and other relevant tools to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets efficiently.
  • Translate complex data sets into actionable insights and present them in a clear and concise manner.

Business Intelligence:

  • Analyze historical data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests and provide insightful analysis to support various business initiatives.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline data-related processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data infrastructure and ensure smooth data flow.

Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
•    Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a track record of handling complex datasets and delivering actionable insights.
•    Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and querying.
•    Proficiency in Spark for handling and processing large-scale data sets.
•    Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data pipeline concepts.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
•    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
•    Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
