Global Rates – EMEA Rates Trading Risk Transformation Desk – Associate

Exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Risk Transformation desk, which looks after the Rates Repack/SPV business. The role requires the candidate to have relevant trading/pricing experience in interest rates derivatives.

As Associate in the team you will manage a trading book which includes a large variety of risks (derivatives and securities), to be part of a growing business, and work with various internal teams.

Job responsibilities

• Manage a trading book and joins a broader team who trades Rates derivatives & securities
• Work with sales to maintain and expand the client franchise and relationships, and with various internal desks (other trading desks, XVA teams, risk teams etc)
• Work on the pricing of trades, execute trades & hedges, and work on new ideas

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Relevant trading experience
• Pricing experience in interest rates derivatives
• Experience / knowledge of XVA
• Proficient sound analytical, numerical and quantitative skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good Excel knowledge, and experience of modelling

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Knowledge of SPVs / repacks
• Coding skills would be of benefit
