Head of Sales f/m

Our building technologies business offers our customers a range of products, solutions and services that combine tradition and digital innovation. We are creating a Head of Sales position with an international scope: France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Maghreb countries.

Leading a team of 25 people and an indirect workforce of around 300 sales representatives, you will play a key role in leading the implementation of global sales policies and strategies.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead sales strategies aligned with the Division’s objectives
  • Negotiate the necessary budgetary resources
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with partners, integrators and end customers
  • Drive initiatives to improve sales efficiency and enhance our digital offerings through innovation and digital transformation
  • Analyze market opportunities to identify new segments and customers
  • Define sales plans, objectives and KPIs in collaboration with operational departments
  • Select and launch new product offerings
  • Supervise the team and promote a culture of innovation within the sales force
  • Lobbying and Public Relations: manage relationships with professional organizations and key stakeholders

The key factors that will facilitate your success:

  • Graduate of a leading engineering or business school
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Business Unit management and/or Marketing Management positions, ideally in the technology and smart-grid sectors
  • Proven leadership, skill in contractual negotiations, experience in creating robust marketing and sales structures
  • International and multicultural professional experience with a deep understanding of the building technology market
  • Fluent French and English are essential, German is a plus.
  • Strategic vision, appetite for construction and ability to operationally decline, charisma and dynamism, business and results orientation, initiative and proactivity, ability to influence and adapt, strong appetite for collaboration and internal communication, simplicity, accessibility, authenticity
