The EU Delivery Service Providers Management team works with the various European countries to optimize our end-to-end relationships with the Delivery Service Providers (DSP’s), focusing on providing a best-in-class partnerships with our stakeholders across EU. We are looking for an Manager – Performance and Insights who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help us develop actionable, data-driven insights, using various quantitative tools and core project management skills.
This role can be based in France, Luxembourg, London or Munich.
Key job responsibilities
• Establish and deliver important new initiatives with broad cross-organizational impact to improve DSP on-road safety performance.
• Define and document business requirements for program automation and expansion, including functional requirements for technical teams.
• Maintain proactive oversight and partner with Amazon stakeholders to drive continuous improvement relating to DSP driver risk reduction and incident reduction.
• Analyze safety performance metrics and behaviors to draw key business insights, including the design and implementation of new metrics, including metric adoption by partner teams.
• Identify needed areas of performance improvement, and prioritize program initiatives in accordance with data/performance signals.
• Clearly communicate, both verbally and in writing, to drive buy-in and adoption across a diverse group of stakeholders with competing priorities, including executive presentations.
• Perform initiative/program training activities with internal Amazon stakeholders and DSP representatives.
A day in the life
In this role, the Safety Perf & Insights Mgr will be accountable for leveraging available data and insights to drive programmatic improvements to reduce unsafe driving behaviors. This will include a deep understanding of the available datasets to design and implement new programs and processes to improve safe driving. This role will regularly work with a wide variety of partner teams, both non-technical and technical, to establish and refine mechanisms that improve DSP on-road safety performance. You will operate with autonomy, demonstrating high judgment in decisions with broad implications.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Prior program or project management experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
– Bachelor’s degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Prior experience of driving process improvements experience
– Master’s degree
– Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
– Working experience with the product development lifecycle
– Experience working cross functionally across tech and non-tech teams
