While manual data processing of joiners, leavers and transfers is a major part of the role; project management, senior stakeholder engagement and being a conduit between various service functions to influence positive project outcomes will also be part of your daily responsibilities.

Job Summary

As a Senior Associate / VP in Business Support Management, you will serve as a partner to the CIB Lines of Business in Paris, working closely with respective business managers, senior management, and all related support groups (Finance, Legal, Compliance, Real Estate, Technology, Control Management and HR).

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the back-office services teams support the delivery of an efficient, customer focused service delivery, ensuring that systems & technology are used to maximum effect.
  • Provide support for the BSM Program Management arm, BSM Governance lead & your direct and indirect manager, ensuring BSM procedures & processes are adhered to at the highest standard.
  • Manage the interaction between your team & the customer ensuring BSM governance processes are followed to the highest standard.
  • Ensure all BCM Reporting tasks are completed within the required timeframes and any adjustments/recertifications to the BSM Procedures are completed timely.
  • Create an inclusive working culture and continuously look to develop your team’s skillset, focusing on project management coordination, MS Excel data management, BSM governance & BSM procedures.
  • To oversee and be responsible for the daily management of real estate data accuracy within the Paris Campus for CIB (excluding HR)
  • Act as a gatekeeper, centrally coordinating change management activity in partnership with technology stakeholders in ensuring the highest level of service from all disciplines on behalf of supported lines of business
  • Provide support in the execution of CIB Paris change projects
  • Through developing SME knowledge on all BCM systems, provide technical guidance as required
  • Responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to deliver on time sensitive real estate projects
  • Oversight of all CIB Paris ex HR postmortem checks, transfers, door access, reconciliation, and status changes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proven leadership track record, especially in managing change and people
  • Ability to implement new processes, escalate issues and ability to communicate with and influence senior stakeholders to drive decision making.
  • Ability to analyse processes and issues: troubleshoot, make connections, problem solve.
