The Role
As a member of the Migration Advisory team, the Migration Advisory Specialist works with Azul’s most important customers, ensuring a smooth and expedited transition to Azul technology. This role requires a broad range of technical skills, careful inter-departmental coordination, and practiced customer focus.

What You’ll Do (aka Responsibilities)
    • Help customers migrate to Azul technology
    • Advise on migration strategy and planning
    • Lead troubleshooting sessions and investigations
    • Be a trusted technical advisor for customers
    • Provide recommendations on best practices
    • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Support to transition new customers
    • Provide internal updates on customer migrations
    • Maintain internal knowledge base
    • Report on migration activity
    • Offer product and tooling recommendations to product management

    • Ability to understand, discuss, and troubleshoot complex, nuanced technical issues

Education and Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
    • 10+ years technical industry experience
    • 5+ years’ experience with customer-facing technical management
    • Extensive Java experience
    • Solid working knowledge of Linux
    • Other platform knowledge (e.g., Windows desktops)
    • Extensive scripting experience
    • Experience with asset management tools (e.g., Flexera)
    • Strong project management skills
    • Java deployment experience
    • Experience with legacy Java technologies (e.g., Applets, Web Start)
    • DevOps skills
    • This is a remote role located anywhere in UKI, Germany, Austria, France
