Do you have the business savvy, Data Estate Modernization background, and sales skills necessary to help position AWS as the cloud provider of choice for customers? By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these stakeholders, you will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption.

As a Leader for France Data Specialist team, you will lead overall strategy for AWS’ Data Portfolio of services for our France based customers. These include Storage, Database and Analytics. You will lead a senior team across the region, leveraging sales plays, partners, and building new initiatives that drive results for our customers. Your team provides critical feedback from customers to inform our product roadmap, and you will work closely with our partner network to build a partner ecosystem supporting our customers’ goals.

Key job responsibilities

• Own overall Sales strategy for Data/AI products across customer segment in France
• Manage a team of Sales Specialists and indirectly lead Sales and Specialized Solutions Architects to solve problems and accelerate adoption for your customers/technology domain.
• Interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as developers and technical architects, to develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.
• Enable account teams on Data Modernization sales plays, programs and services, as well as well as technology and consulting partner channels.
• Partner with business development/Go-To-Market specialist and solutions architecture teams to accelerate Data Estate Modernization opportunities within strategic customer segments and key accounts
• Meet or exceed annual revenue targets
• Develop long-term and strategic relationships with key accounts and stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 10+ years’ experience leading high performance teams in a matrixed environment
– 10+ years of relevant sales, GTM, or Consulting experience
– 7+ years of technology experience in Data & AI
– BA/BS degree required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
– Established track record of building rapport with customer executives (e.g. CEO, COO, CIO, CTO, CMO), building close relationships, and closing large revenue accounts, ideally across multiple industries.
– Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners. You’ve not only carried quotas, you’ve consistently exceeded them by doing the right thing for your customer.
– Experience in a heavily matrixed sales environment, including developing, implementing, managing, and executing cross-functional solutions-led go-to-market growth initiatives and sales motion. •
– Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms.
– Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
