Swapcard is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior People Operations Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping our remote-first culture!
Reporting to the Head of People, this role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact Swapcard’s activities by providing an exceptional employee experience.

Your missions will include

Benefits Administration
* Oversee health insurance management and optimize benefits programs for employees.
* Ensure compliance with benefits regulations and address employee inquiries related to benefits.
Leave and Absence Management
* Develop and improve leave policies and procedures, including sick leave, parental leave, exceptional leave, and PTO.
* Maintain a comprehensive leave handbook for employees.
Contract and Compliance Management
* Ensure employment contracts are compliant with relevant regulations.
* Draft employment contracts and manage employee records.
Employee Records and Data Management
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRSiS (Hibob) and other relevant systems.
* Generate benefits reports and leave reports to inform decision-making.
Administrative Support
* Manage admin requests related to relocation and HR procedures.
* Coordinate visa sponsorship for employees as needed.
Payroll and Legal Collaboration
* Work closely with our payroll department to ensure proper alignment with employee administrative matters.
* Collaborate with our legal team to maintain HR compliance, ensuring all practices and policies adhere to relevant regulations.
Swapcard operates with 8 entities (FR, ES, PT, UK, USA, CA, SI, UAE) and has contractors worldwide. This position demands a keen interest in learning and comprehending various local regulations to effectively manage our global operations.

What we are looking for

    • Proven experience (approximately 5 years) in People Operations, HR, or related field.
    • Strong knowledge and appetite (!) of employment laws, regulations, and compliance – ideally in France, Spain, or Portugal.
    • Experience in managing benefits administration and leave management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Remote work experience and ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment where wearing multiple hat is required.
