About This Role

As our Strategic Market Partner – Digital Solutions, you will lead be responsible for the GTM strategy of all Biogen Digital Health Solutions, including new launches and optimizing existing offerings as well as Market Partnering activities. The role will need to work in close partnership with our external partners and relevant business stakeholders to ensure uptake and retention strategies are in place for all relevant markets. This role will ensure delivery of a clearly defined roadmap (aligning with our external partner) to ensure end to end project management outlining clear timelines, deliverables, resource requirements & clear KPIs are aligned, managed and delivered in full. He/She will be responsible for creating the roadmap for market engagement as well as serving as Market partner, ensuring relevant assignment of solutions working in close partnership with key stakeholders across the business and overseeing the external partner market operations activities. This will include full synchronization of requirements and deliverables with Head of Global Digital Solutions, work in close collaboration with the Global CE&O LT, as well as with PDCs, iCoE, GMs & CE&O country teams. The role requires a continuous improvement mindset and will also proactively consult with the business to identify new and emerging digital capabilities and solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business, empowering teams with relevant and cutting-edge capabilities to enable a superior and differentiated customer/patient experience, considering the balance of both external capabilities and internal solution development. Critical to value creation of Digital Solutions across Biogen, this role will support scaling and distributing all Digital Health Solutions across markets ex-US, providing end to end frameworks & packages to markets (legal, marketing, project management, etc.) and provide on-going strategic advice to markets in how to maximize value creation from digital health solutions in their markets.

What You’ll Do

Digital Solutions Management

  • Overall business ownership of all GTM strategies for Biogen Digital Solution(s) and other related capabilities
  • Work closely with, and support, Global Head of Digital Solutions to ensure external partners are delivering all specified requirements
  • Serve as Market Partner coordinating and overseeing external Market Operations activities
  • Monitor launch and market operation activities by third party against timelines and deliverables, pro-actively raise risks and escalate for rapid resolution as needed
  • Proactively engage and communicate across the business to critically review adoption of Digital Health Solutions as relevant, ensuring a clearly defined market roadmap with end to end project management outlining clear timelines, deliverables, resource requirements & clear KPIs are aligned, managed and delivered in full
  • Accountable for development and delivery of brand guidelines for Digital Health Solutions ensuring consistency and alignment in market adoption
  • Drive market uptake and retention strategies across Digital Health Solutions
  • Strong collaboration with external partner and other relevant stakeholders ensuring a fully compliant delivery as required by global/local regulations
  • Ongoing assessment of current market digital health solution capabilities assessing and identifying short and mid-term opportunities
  • Proactively engage with the business to drive the adoption of the capability, ensuring seamless delivery and executional excellence, seeking market expansion of solutions as relevant and agreed with RPs, including measurement and tracking of digital health solution utilisation including impact/ROI
  • Oversight and support in-market Digital Solutions Operations and resources including budgetary accountability and tracking, working in close partnership with CE&O and in market teams
  • Partner with business owners to ensure changes or deviations to agreed plans are executed without unexpected disruption
  • Support and advise markets ongoing, acting as subject matter expert for all Digital Health Solutions and related capabilities

  • Leading innovation and improvement including full engagement in external capabilities, new, market developments & trends
  • Proactively seek new solutions and methodologies, delivering regular market analysis, providing complete recommendations with practical application of emerging trends and opportunities to enhance digital solution and data capabilities
  • Actively apply continuous improvement philosophy, driving continuous improvement of operational processes.

Required Skills

  • Minimum educational level necessary to perform the job (High School diploma, Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Masters, PhD). MBA a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Significant experience working across the business at a senior level
  • Experience managing and delivering Digital Health Solutions
  • Deep understanding of Pharma/Biotech Customer Engagement Models / needs / priorities
  • Proven track record of driving change management internally
  • Proven track record in a highly competitive marketplace
  • Fluent in English and any additional language would be beneficial
