The Procter & Gamble factory in Blois, located in Loir-et-Cher, is one of the most important production sites for

group shampoos. Every day, we produce more than 2 million bottles. Our brands? Head&Shoulders®, Pantene®, Herbal Essences®, Aussie® and Old Spice®. Our site is highly automated with a state-of-the-art level of technology of the cosmetics industry. Your goal will be to develop your own abilities through work experience, tutoring and training.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO P&G’S SUCCESS :

On our production plant, the Packing department guarantees the packing of our products in their final packaging.

Three priorities for the packaging department: Safety, Quality, Productivity. The heart of the profession of process packing engineer is the constant improvement of production lines in order to increase their efficiency (reduction of changeover times, reduction of stoppages, etc.).

As part of your apprenticeship program, you will be in charge of improving format changeover times between each production cycle. Your project will consist of several steps:

  • Observation and data collection in the field
  • Management of the PDCA cycle of changes
  • Data analysis
  • Implementation and monitoring of technical action plan
  • Coaching of operators to increase their capability
  • Use of Lean Manufacturing methods, SMED…

Job Qualifications

YOU ARE THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU HAVE/ARE :

  • Master’s degree, year 4/5 in an engineering school or university
  • Field: processes, mechanics, industrial engineering, automation.
  • Ability to take initiatives and strength of proposal
  • Collaborative spirit and taste for the field
  • Professional French/English required
  • Ability to take initiatives and leadership
