DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Marketplace is a large and fast growing business where millions of customers transact with hundreds of thousands of Selling Partners, who range from individuals and SMBs to large retailers and brand owners. We are looking for a bright and ambitious individual to build their career with our Marketplace team in France as a Manager for our Selling Partner recruitment team.

You will lead a team of account managers who are in charge of leadsourcing, pitching, launching and developing New Sellers on the French marketplace. You will need to drive business development conversations with large accounts, analyse complex data to identify growth opportunities, coach and develop your team to help them succeed, and work with peers across EU to invent scalable solutions.

In addition you will have responsibility for one of our account management programs or projects, leading the development of this program across EU locales , working with the senior leadership of our EU businesses and global teams (e.g. account management and product development teams).

Key job responsibilities
– Manage and develop a team of Account Managers to deliver on goals for Selling Partner recruitment and management
– Conduct deep dives to understand root cause of team performance and actions to accelerate growth
– Share leanings with EU3P counterparts to drive best practices
– Identify opportunities to improve the Marketplace business for all Selling Partners through scalable solutions and manage the roll-out of these solutions
– Act as the lead for one of our account management programs or projects with EU scope – presenting on performance, driving consistency across EU teams and identifying opportunities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5-8 years’ working experience in management consulting, product management, business management or sales management
– Track record in people management
– Track record in managing a commercial action plan to deliver ambitious commercial objectives
– Strong written and verbal communication skills (in both French and English
– Highly organized and results oriented
– Strong analytical skills (including advanced excel and database analysis)
– Strong academic achievement at bachelor’s degree level

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– MBA from top tier institution is highly preferred
– Experience in Retail and/or a technology/eCommerce business preferred but not essential
– Knowledge of SQL
