Joining the Simcenter Pipeline Operations Team, you oversee the build and deployment processes for the Simcenter Amesim, HMS, and MBSE family of physics domain modeling tools. You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the builds within a Jenkins pipeline environment.

In this role, collaboration and problem-solving orientation are essential:

• You work closely with development teams to ensure timely repairs and with infrastructure teams to resolve failures efficiently, managing the build system, refactoring, and addressing bugs as necessary. You also collaborate with the Pipeline Operations team to revamp the build system to establish a more modular, efficient, and maintainable build pipeline.

• Monitoring the status of daily builds, and utilizing existing automated tools, you streamline the various build processes, and machine failures to the responsible infrastructure team.

Your qualifications

We would love to hear from you as a passionate engineer or bachelor-graduate in computer science, with successful experience working with Jenkins and automated build tools.

On top of your technical expertise, you show good collaborative skills and enthusiasm towards working in international and distributed team, as well as an ability to communicate effectively with diverse project teams, paying attention to details and being problem-solving oriented.

• You join us with in-depth knowledge of recompiler and build as well as experience with the C/C++ Makefile environment.

• You are familiar with Python/Bash/Batch scripting essential.

In addition, preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and understanding: Continuous Integration and Deployment processes, Groovy essential, Java, Linus and Windows operating systems.
