*This role can be based in Italy, France or Spain*

The Business Line (BL) Senior HRBP is part of the BL Corporate and Strategic HRBP organization and reports into the Super-Regional BL Strategic HRBP. The role is aligned to Operations Leaders for either Customer Fulfilment (CF), Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) or Amazon Logistics (AMZL), reporting into respective Super Region Strategic HRBP. They act as a trusted advisor who connects business challenges to PXT activities and outcomes, partner with business on people related topics and support the organizational change, and respond to opportunities. They work in close collaboration with the Country Field team and respective PXT Leadership to deliver BL specific insights. They partner effectively with support teams for BL needs. They partner with Country PXT Leadership when developing and executing people strategies that support business growth, performance and future objectives, ensuring they are in line with the strategy of the super-region. The role is designed to amplify One Ops PXT’s close proximity and integration with their client group. They are high judgement decision maker, who cuts through ambiguity and they act as employees’ advocate, continually pushing towards the vision of becoming Earth’s best employer. They are an innovative team player and see their role as a partner of the business, working hand in hand with country BL PXT all PXT colleagues in the scope. They develop creative initiatives, and translate it to Talent Management. They work on operational excellence topics, they strive to find the whys behind the numbers, they setting up action plans to address issues.

Key job responsibilities
STRATEGIC BUSINESS PARTNERING

ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGY

Support the BL Super-Region’s efficiency and effectiveness by:
– Ensuring time is focused on the highest value activities and issues to drive S-team ((TTR, URA, SoC, D1MO) and BL PXT goals
– Building and managing timelines for critical BL PXT topics, particularly with support teams (e.g. GOLD, L&D, BL Finance and ACES teams, DEI, WFS/ C&B at an EU/multi-country level, Launch etc.)
– Managing follow-ups to Senior Leaders’ request on specific BL topics, discovering root causes and leading fixes for the issues, leveraging specialized PXT functions including PXT Centers of Excellence and shared services (e.g. Compensation, Workforce Staffing, ERC, DLS, Compliance)
– Providing feedback on PXT issues, changes and continuous improvements in partnership with Country Field teams, Strategy & Capability team (at EU or country level) and PXT3 team
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE – Facilitating Leadership decisions by:
– Supporting or driving projects and initiatives in close collaboration with the Strategy & Capability and OOPXT country Leadership teams that are aligned with the overall priorities of the BL. Work in close partnership with Regional PXT leader who are BL POC and OPS Directors to ensure a smooth deployment.
– Providing ad hoc dive deep on metrics and data for Regional leadership in collaboration with Country/Site Field PXT. Ensure requests from Ops BL leadership are being well understood and aligned with the delivery of PXT goals (Unplanned Absence /Attrition)
– Working with the Super Regional Strategic HRBP in the delivery of: Peak/Prime/Q4 Readiness Plans and daily business reviews (DBRs) or super-regional weekly business reviews (WBRs), planned Super-Regional BL MBRs/QBRs that report on deliverables for businesses/sites such as Goals/UA/Attrition.
– Creating collaborative forums with the right identified stakeholders to deliver other business lines and country best practices on various topics
TALENT MANAGEMENT – Delivering innovative Talent strategies by:
– Working with dedicated Country PXT Teams within the super-region for all people related matters (such as organizational development; DEI; talent development; performance management, organizational design, BL people goals). Acts as their primary partner for all Talent Management needs and reviews. Ensures that their Ops partners hold themselves accountable to equitably selecting, retaining, developing, and optimizing the performance and engagement of their leaders and teams
– Supporting the Super Regional Strategic HRBP in the delivery of Operations Talent Reviews, through close collaboration with the respective Country Field Ops teams (from countries that make up respective region), ensuring delivery for BL at EU and WW level
– Regularly reviewing Talent plans/Connections with multi-country/super-regional BL Operations leader and holds the business and Field PXT leaders accountable to improving leadership behaviors below the bar. Works closely with the leader to strategically plan for long term talent goals and business priorities.

The BL Senior HRBP will work in the Super-Regional BL HRBP Team and partner with business and Country Field PXT teams and BL OOPXT POC, supporting them in delivering for the following goals/KPIs for their region/country/super-region, for the business line that they support (below list is indicative of current requirements and may see changes based on business/PXT needs):
– BL Absence or Attendance Management
– BL Attrition
– BL Engagement/Connections
– BL DEI (PWD, Equity, etc.) metrics
– BL HC Planning and management
– BL Talent Management metrics (TT retention, URA, CGA)
– BL S-TEAM Goals and people BL specific goals

Their specific goals will derive from the aforementioned list.

– Monthly connects with relevant support team stakeholders such as Global Operations Learning Development (GOLD), L&D, BL Finance and ACES teams, IXT, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Employment Legal, Organization Design & Effectiveness (OD&E), BL ER team; and WFS/ C&B at an EU/multi-country level

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– University degree and at least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position
– Excellent writing skills and communication skills with all levels of stakeholders
– First experience in managing complex projects and / or programs with heterogeneous teams.
– Fluency in English and in one of the languages of the region supported
– Labor Law Knowledge
