ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Paris, Audible Studio Paris is producing audiobooks and podcasts to grow the French audio catalogue and provide the most qualitative content for our customers. Sound technicians will either record the interpretation and recitation of books or scripts and / or post-produce the recordings.

Basée à Paris, Audible Studio Paris produit des livres audio et des podcasts afin de développer le catalogue audio français et de fournir le contenu le plus qualitatif à ses clients. Les opérateurs du son enregistreront l’interprétation et la récitation de livres ou de scripts et/ou gèreront la post-production des enregistrements (mixage, conformation, étalonnage…).

As a Sound Technician, you will…
– Operate the recording booth and master the different tools (software/ hardware) to reach Audible Studio Paris qualitative standards for sound recordings
– Record the interpretation and recitation of a book or a script according to Audible Studio Paris qualitative standards for sound recording
– Execute the postproduction of the recordings to meet with Audible Studio Paris qualitative standards for sound design

– Enregistrer l’interprétation et la récitation d’un livre ou d’un script
– Réaliser la post-production des enregistrements afin de répondre aux normes qualitatives d’Audible Studio Paris en matière de conception sonore

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Sound technician, mastery of digital audio production tools such as Protools or Reaper, and of the digital audio chain, solid experience in sound editing and mixing

– Opérateur du son, maitrise des outils de production audio numérique tels que Protools ou Reaper, et de la chaine audio numérique, maitrise du montage et du mixage

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Sound technician for audiobooks or podcasts, and be comfortable directing actors and working with the artistic director
– Have a good knowledge of text and grammar

– Opérateur du son pour livres audio ou podcasts, Être à l’aise dans la direction de comédien(nnes) et collaborer avec le directeur/ la directrice artistique
– Avoir une appétence et une bonne connaissance du texte et de la grammaire
