Salesforce.com is transforming the industry and the Partner Sales Manager is responsible for leading this change with responsibility for accelerating the growth for their specific industry with a defined set of partners .

Job Description

The individual is a mix of strategic problem solvers and executors. This position will have leadership responsibilities for developing the sales alliances strategies and Go-To-Market (GTM) plan with your partner set, our industry sales teams, supporting channel organizations, and other key collaborators. Their responsibility will be to develop and drive the execution of revenue-driving programs and initiatives in the France region. Additionally, they will be responsible for evangelizing SFDC’s industry value proposition within their partner set.

The ideal candidate will be the bridge between their Salesforce industry team and our ecosystem of partners and work in close alignment with the Industry Leader. The ideal candidate leads by influence, is strong in stakeholder management, is sales-driven and has experience working with the partner ecosystem, from the industry and potentially also in sales, consulting, and/ or marketing departments.
The successful candidate will have an innovator’s approach, with a strong curiosity about understanding the big picture and translating it into tactical action to drive the success of partners. A strong sales mentality with an ability to operationally support our sales leaders with industry go-to-market strategies . Collaboration with key external and internal collaborators will be very important, success in this role is achieved by succeeding through others. The candidate will be part of the Industry board.

Responsibilities :
• Partner Sales in France
• Creation and execution of the industry GTM plan in collaboration with Partner Account Managers and industry partners, holding every stakeholder accountable for reaching ambitious goals
• Support Industry Leader and their team in strategic and operational sales
• Demgen with partners in collaboration with the Business Dev team and Marketing
• Support building the health and capability of their strategic partner industry capabilities
• Lead partner pipe reviews and implement a strategy on new logos, pipe stagnation, and pipe progression.
• Forecasting for the industry
• Master the industry pipe, particularly big bets

Target Skills / Experience:
• Previous channel and sales experience is an advantage
• A passion for sales and working with SI partners
• Strong business development skills; shown ability to understand different partner GTM and organizational models.
• A bility to structure and transition sophisticated problems to solutions
• Strong presentation skills, especially related to building compelling and influential stories
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valuable work experience focused on scaling operations and/or logical reasoning
• Self-starter motivated to go above and beyond the task at hand and succeed in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to build, lead, and implement strategy in a cross-functional environment

• Demonstrable proof of producing measurable results of influenced revenue or channel sales through a consulting integration partner
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering results in a sophisticated, matrixed organization.
• Strong drive and character qualities that match with company’s core values and encourage others to follow and act
• Executive presence to lead and handle the most strategic global partners.
