We’re looking for our hidden gem, an HR Operations Specialist France – Belgium – Netherlands to join our fabulous team.

📍 Where? You’ll be based in Paris.

What will your mission be?

At Groupon, there’s no room for boredom. You’ll be in charge of the following missions:

Administrative management of human resources:

  • Sort incoming employee requests, providing accurate responses within a reasonable timeframe (requests via Zendesk, email, chat, etc., in line with internally set service deadlines).
  • Provide operational HR support to employees and train them in self-service on our platforms
  • Participate in the resolution of HR issues in partnership with the Country People Manager and other players within the HR team, but also in other Business Units if necessary.
  • Ensure that documentation on the company intranet and available to employees is kept up to date.
  • Have a good knowledge of internal HR policies and be the guarantor of these policies to employees
  • Carry out transactional procedures on Workday (creation of a new employee, change of contact details, end of contract, salary increase, promotion, etc.).

Labor relations (France) :

  • Support the Country People Manager in the preparation of WOCO/negotiation meetings
  • Preparation of mandatory annual consultation documents for the CSE

Employee relations :

  • Ensure the onboarding of new recruits (monitor probation periods, medical visit and relationship with medical centers, DPAE, etc
) and the offboarding
  • Career management support (annual interviews, forfeit-jours, trainings, etc)

The activity will be mainly focused on France, Belgium and the Netherlands but this role can also provide operational support to any other country if necessary (absence of an HR Ops of another country, assignment of new countries, etc.).

The missions listed are obviously not exhaustive, and may evolve according to the person’s appetite and the national or international projects that will take place.

Your qualities :

  • Strong knowledge of human resources in France, knowledge of the French labor law would be appreciated
  • Expertise in the use of HR tools (Workday, SuccessFactor, GTA or other)
  • Quick autonomy on assigned topics : the purpose is to be the employees’ main point of contact
  • Strong adaptability in a changing environment
  • Capacity to communicate and adapt (to deal with complex issues)
  • Fluent in French and professional English (fluency in another language is a plus)

Experience and background :

  • At least 2 years’ seniority in HR, an experience in a international company would be a plus
  • Master degree in HR/Employment law
