The EMEA Sales Strategy and Operations team is a high-performance, results oriented team that values innovation and is chartered with supporting senior sales leadership in driving the business forward. Salesforce is looking for a Sales Strategy Analyst to support our French organization across our business planning, developing in-depth analyses and building reporting tools to track the performance of the business. This person will be responsible for generating actionable insights for our sales leaders and will assist on a number of transformational initiatives.
This role is a high impact role that provides great visibility to senior sales leaders in France. Sample projects range from the strategic to the operational including designing & building new data visualization tools, evaluating market opportunities, business planning, market segmentation, sales pipeline analysis, scale & automation efforts and regular review of key performance metrics.
Deliverables include detailed analytic models, custom performance analysis, building a scalable reporting infrastructure, and packaging findings into presentation-ready content for Salesforce executives. The role requires interaction with multiple functional teams in the organization (such as Finance, Operations, Sales and Customer Success) and provides exposure to senior executives. The successful candidate will have relentless curiosity and possess a passion for creating innovative analysis to identify opportunities. They will be comfortable diving into large datasets, excel at extracting insights from data, and converting ideas to action.
Your Impact:
- Assist strategy business partners to execute all steps of Salesforce’s Go-to-Market strategy in (market segmentation, headcount planning, implementation of rep territories, quota setting).
- Build tools and dashboards that help stakeholders derive new insights & learnings
- Lead ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations
- Design and interpret key performance metrics. Deliver insights & recommendations
- Find new ways to automate existing processes and drive process improvements
- Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives
- Troubleshooting operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems/ processes to fix root causes
- Prepare analysis and recommendations for strategic decision making
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Some experience, ideally in management consulting or in business operations for an online / SaaS company, ideally in an analytical and/or business development role.
- Advanced knowledge of G-Suite (Sheets, Slides). Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and Alation would be a plus.
- Fluency in French and English is required, ability to conduct business in another European language is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial drive and a “get things done” attitude to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
- An outgoing, open personality with a clear desire to learn and develop.
