Job Description

The Procter & Gamble factory in Blois, located in Loir-et-Cher, is one of the most important production sites for group shampoos. Every day, we produce more than 2 million bottles. Our brands? Head&Shoulders®, Pantene®, Herbal Essences®, Aussie® and Old Spice®. Our site is highly automated with a state-of-the-art level of technology of the cosmetics industry. Your goal will be to develop your own abilities through work experience, tutoring and training.

Missions

Our production site relies on a total supply chain from the reception of raw materials to the shipment of our finished products. It consists of a reception area, a shipping area and two storage warehouses. As part of your internship, you will join the logistics department. Your objective will be to improve and to optimize logistics flows.

Your project will consist of several steps:

Set up a system for monitoring, and analyzing shipping equipment:

  • Analyze delays into the supply chain
  • Set up a system for monitoring and consolidating shutdowns
  • Simplify the analysis of losses in the “shipping” area
  • Co-set up a loss analysis report on the “shipping” area
  • Share the supply chain impacts on the production lines

Implement communication solutions for supply chain flows (objectives, losses, action plan, training, reports, etc.) to the various interlocutors:

  • Set up monitoring of maintenance costs on the SAP software in collaboration with the maintenance planning manager
  • Ensure the proper application of P&G standards
  • Propose actions to simplify reports and support the digitization of our supply chain in the field
  • Support technical teams and update our loss elimination tools

Document the list of tasks and training for positions in the “shipping” area:

  • Inventory all the tasks carried out by the technical teams
  • Document and update the job description

Job Qualifications

YOU ARE THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU HAVE/ARE :

  • Master’s degree, year 4/5 in an engineering school or university
  • Available at least 4 months up to 6 months
  • Field: processes, mechanics, industrial engineering, automation, supply chain
  • Appetite for project management
  • Ability to take initiatives and leadership
  • Collaborative spirit
  • Level French at least B2 required
