Join a hands-on Paris team delivering mail, print and document products to the required quality standards via digital & workplace solution

As part of a small team, you will provide a professional service for receiving, tracking and shipping of mail, as well as supporting clients who need assistance with professional printing and preparing documents ready for clients. Use the latest digital and technical products such as package lockers, scanners and tracking devices, aligned to global control procedures to ensure a robust and controlled process.

As a Team Lead in the DBS Paris team, you will report directly to, and support the local team Supervisor/Manager to ensure a consistent level of service and act as deputy in their absence. You will engage and help develop other team members to adopt and deploy the required processes to deliver mail and produce print requests on a timely basis and ensure that print equipment and office supplies are well maintained for the personnel in the buildings. You will support the process of transporting documents through courier, postal and document management vendors, as well as overseeing a vendor-managed document destruction service.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop business relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and align our service and product model accordingly.
  • Operate and oversee onsite equipment and related consumables, including package lockers, printers, scanners, x-ray and other equipment, as applicable, ensuring compliance with all DBS work instructions (i.e. Standard Operating Procedures and Job Aids) as well as local and regional Health & Safety requirements.
  • Maintain inventory to support stock management and fulfillment of consumables, including toner, paper and stationery units.
  • Receive and process incoming and outgoing documents to all destinations (internal and external) through digital or physical channels, including required manifest(s) and documentation, in alignment with approved vendor services.
  • Handling of specialized items and responding to more complex inquiries, including possible extensive research.
  • Manage teams to ensure the high standard of work produced by team members, supporting escalation of issues.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Advanced written and spoken English
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, interacting positively with the ability to go above and beyond to find ways to meet client needs and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to lead, engage and support team members to deliver on goals/initiatives of the department, and achieve high performing team results in a demanding environment.
  • Knowledge of mail operations, print equipment, production processes, procedures in actual or related services and products we provide.
  • Ability to follow directions, show initiative, work and perform duties under minimal supervision, and follow through on tasks.
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to learn and to proactively seek and participate in opportunities and willingness to utilize downtime to learn new skills.
  • Detail and deadline oriented with strong emphasis on safeguarding all personal and confidential information.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Advanced written and spoken English and French
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Advanced understanding and use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook – Mail/Calendar)
  • Comfortable to communicate and present in a group or team situation
  • Ability to resolve complex problems and develop solutions
  • Accountable for actions and accept constructive feedback
  • Willing to offer assistance, share knowledge and train others, providing guidance and direction
