Your New Role

The WBD Ad Sales Brand Solutions department supports the international and local ad sales teams, spread throughout the world, to sell advertising solutions across all platforms. It regroups different teams: from Product Strategists, to Creatives and Brand Content production. Being at the heart of the sales process, the ultimate goal of this team is to grow and optimize the global Adsales revenue.

The Brand Solutions team focuses its effort in managing the sponsorship inventory, creating a canvas of advertising opportunities and solutions around the editorial contents available on linear, digital and social, and developing creative special ad operations together with editorial teams, in response to client’s briefs.

The Discovery Ad Sales Brand Solutions department is looking for a Digital Executive (including social), as part of a maternity cover. Reporting into the Digital Strategist, the Digital Executive will help grow Digital and Social International Ad Sales (IAS) revenue through solution sales on Discovery brands.

The role entails the creation and coordination of all Ad Sales digital opportunities for Warner Bros. Discovery brands, across platforms. The Digital Executive will provide creative leadership/vision and will be responsible for creating Adsales value around digital and social.

Role Accountabilities

  • Be part of the Digital Strategist team within the Brand Solutions Adsales team with the objective to proactively create and deliver compelling digital / social brand solutions,
  • Cross platform knowledge of global Digital and Social IP and evangelization across the Adsales teams,
  • Coordination with internal stakeholders (global editorial, legal, markets, AdOps)
  • Management of decks and the container creative library (together with Creatives).
  • Help facilitate delivery of digital Branded Content campaigns across platforms within Discovery (across all local markets) for our client’s
  • Implement best practices for all Digital brands across the network, setting up workflows and processes where appropriate,
  • Support Strategic Account Managers in developing new out-of-the-box advertising opportunities to generate more client activities beyond business as usual
  • Create a robust network of contacts within the Discovery world to navigate easily,
  • Identify how we can leverage skills across the regions
  • Sharing best practices, knowledge and material for pitches, decks, proposals, marketing etc.
  • Run all social media amplification strategies for Eurosport branded content and supervise the execution of paid campaigns (e.g. Facebook Ads).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • You have 2-4 years’ experience in the field of digital marketing, coordination and digital project management.
  • Fluent English is essential to the good performance of the position.
  • You are versatile (e) and have good adaptability. Your organization, rigor and independence are recognized qualities. You have proven interpersonal skills.
  • Your initiative and your perseverance will enable you to carry out the missions entrusted to you.
  • Proven promotion and advertising experience with promotion-specific track record in the television or entertainment industry or within primary advertising agencies
  • Solid advertising creative background (wide knowledge of the brands/products, target audience related to briefs and competitor activities in the market)
  • Deep understanding of the digital world across multiple platforms and familiarity with social media
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • Leadership, effective communication, strategic thinking, planning and organization skills
  • Precision, passion for detail and applied administrative skill
  • Natural aptitude to problem-solving
