The EU Cost Out Team is the equivalent of a PMO function responsible for overview of all cost projects that are actively contributing to Cost Savings / Cost Reduction for the EU transportation network. This is a hybrid BIE/PM role, requiring both leading cross-functional project flows and delivering analytical insights.
We are searching for a Sr Business intelligence engineer who already has experience of managing projects from scratch and interested in program/project management.
Key job responsibilities
As an EU Cost Out Sr BIE/PM, your main roles and responsibilities will be:
– Launching programs, monitoring performance metrics, and reporting on the status of key objectives that affect deliverables and leadership teams;
– Engage directly with key stakeholders including CX, Finance, and other PM’s to drive ideation and completion of cost reduction projects;
– Evolving simple analyses into programs by designing program mechanisms to reduce bottlenecks, improve communication, identify risks;
– Working closely with business and finance partners in order to scope, design and validate cost saving initiatives that will contribute to delivering a cost reduction objective;
– Engaging directly across teams and to self-guide and innovate to resolve issues that either reduce cost out entitlement or drive shortfalls to our highly visible annual goal;
– Identifying project dependencies and road blockers and proposing mitigation plans for any kinds of blockers;
– Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions;
– Develop deep-dive tools, UIs, metrics, and dashboards;
– Automating existing processes to improve efficiency of current existing workflows
About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of SQL experience
– Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
– Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
– Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
– Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
– Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
– Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
– Experience in the data/BI space
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
– Experience with data modelling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
– Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as Python, R, SAS and Matlab
– Several years of experience in a Product/Project/Program Management role and BIE/Analytics;
– Experience in supply chain/transportation
– Ability to lead without authority and proven record of senior stakeholder management.
– Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership
– Support ad-hoc requests and assist in various requests from senior management
