Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager of Sales to join our team as an Ambassador of our elegant property with a rich history and atypical architecture.

Under the responsibility of the General Manager, and in collaboration with the Sales Department and the Group’s shared services (marketing, revenue management), your role is to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the different outlets :
    • Identifying target markets,
    • setting sales targets,
    • creating marketing campaigns to attract high-end customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop sales initiatives to drive revenue growth (groups’ & transients’ business). This includes attending industry events, networking, and building a strong reputation for your hotel.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, including luxury travel agents, tour operators, and consortia groups.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure the hotel remains competitive in the luxury and consortia markets.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budget plans, owners’ presentations to ensure revenue targets are met.
  • Negotiating contracts: You will need to negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to ensure that the hotel’s revenue goals are met. This includes pricing, terms and conditions, and other aspects of the sale.
  • Support the company’s service and relationship strategy, building customer loyalty through service excellence throughout each customer experience, Marriott Bonvoy.
  • Manage a team of 5 associates

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in hotel sales, with a focus on the luxury and consortia markets.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with sales and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
