We are looking for our Parisian property for an experienced and qualified Director of Revenue (M/F).

The applicant must hold a work permit in accordance with French legislation.

A fluent level of French and English is required.

Position based in Paris.

Profile Required

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Director of Revenue to join one of the most iconic in the world.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for the interpretation of business analytics into tactical strategy. The Director of Revenue provides focused expertise that will guide and direct the hotel’s Revenue Strategy team towards budgeted goals, through effective and measurable revenue management initiatives. You will work closely with the Director of Marketing to implement and consistently execute optimal revenue strategy, enabling key strategic and operational decisions for the hotel.

Key responsibilities will include Interpreting business analytics into meaningful action to improve revenue performance and reduce channel costs, identifying opportunities to leverage demand, managing rates and inventory in all distribution channels, initiating pricing analysis and recommendations, ownership of OTA Market Manager relationships, ownership of local merchandising strategies in distribution channels, preparation and presentation of revenue budgets and forecasts, and leading a weekly Revenue Strategy meeting that informs and enables optimization across all revenue generating departments.

You will oversee the Reservations Manager and exhibit a special talent for building, leading, coaching, training, and developing a strong team; ensuring our employees feel at home and receive the highest levels of support and care along with creating a great workplace for all great people to deliver great experiences.

Ability to translate data and reporting into clear presentations for senior stakeholders.

Essential Functions

  • Interpret business analytics into meaningful action to improve performance.
  • Business owner of all Revenue Management systems and tools, including, but not limited to, IDeaS G3 RMS, Opera, BI tools, STR, OTA Insight, Travelclick.
  • Effectively manage inventory, pricing, rate parity, and positioning in all distribution channels, including Branded Web, 3rd Party Sites, Worldwide Reservation Office (WRO), and Global Distribution System (GDS).
  • Lead optimal pricing strategy analysis and recommendations for all room classes and market segments.
  • Ownership of OTA Market Manager relationship.
  • Contribute guidance and recommendations for local merchandising strategies. Liaise regularly with hotel digital marketing and communications teams, agencies, and vendors on campaign management opportunities.
  • Create and submit hotel forecasts leveraging IDeaS G3 RMS. Monitor accuracy on weekly basis.
  • Lead weekly Revenue Strategy meetings separate from Forecast Meetings. Build consensus within Revenue Management Team to move new initiatives forward.
  • Assist Marketing and Finance leadership in annual budget, marketing plan and sales goal preparation.
