This is a very exciting opportunity to join Amazon Shipping, a new and fast-growing Business Unit commercializing Amazon’s parcel logistics for third-party companies. To help us build ‘the next big thing’ at Amazon, we are looking for an experienced, results-oriented Business Developer for our strategic customer/key accounts segments in France. You will join the team at a crucial moment as we scale our French service offering. You will be responsible for developing a strong pipeline of key accounts in the 3PL and enterprise segments. You will also partner with Operations, Product and Program management teams to deliver insights and shape feature/capability development for shippers and recipients, as well as build relationships and trust with key internal customers to turn big ideas into outstanding results for Amazon and the parcel delivery industry.

• You have experience in developing trustful relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including C-levels of key accounts and teams across Operations, Procurement, Finance, Legal
• You have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding your goals.
• You are able to communicate with senior leaders in a clear, concise and structured manner – particularly in written form, both in English and French
• You can easily shift between strategic thinking and rolling up your sleeves and executing, in order to deliver results
• You are able to translate the needs of customers of varying sizes and industries into strategic priorities and product requirements
This role will be based in Clichy, with occasional domestic or international travel.
Key job responsibilities
• Identify market segment share and customer leadpool for our product, and generate new leads, particularly in the large/enterprise customer segments
• Own and manage business development inputs that drive profitable revenue
• Customer relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and leads of varying typology and size
• Seek out new commercial opportunities with internal and external partners and drive implementation, either directly or indirectly
• Cross-functional collaboration: Deliver complex launch and integration projects. Relay market segment needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management and Tech Teams
• Measure performance, lead and articulate root-cause analysis, and link to specific improvement areas
• Analyze current processes and evaluate opportunities for solutions to improve end user experiences, reduce costs, and accelerate organization performance
• Represent Amazon Shipping France in external events

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree or “Grande Ecole” diploma
• Strong business acumen, as well as communication and negotiation skills, ability to effectively advise senior leadership
• Several years’ experience in B2B business development, sales and account management roles
• Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, complex environment
• Entrepreneurial background with proven ability to deal with ambiguity, pivot quickly, adapt to new processes and run fast
• Proven quantitative analytical capability and project management skills in addition to being customer focused, excellent attention to detail and able to effectively prioritize and multi-task
• Track record of creating trustful relationships with C-level client stakeholders, incl. large accounts
• Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals
• French at native level
• Fluency in English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Proven track record in B2B/B2C parcel transportation sales
– Experience selling to procurement and/or supply chain roles
– Expert use of MS Office Suite, CRMs, sales and marketing automation tools (Salesforce.com)
