Job Summary:

Key to the successful rollout of our strategic roadmap, the IT Director -Enterprise Architecture and Shared Capabilities, will be responsible for the:

  • the development and evolution of the DLP enterprise architecture plan (EAP), the definition of technical and methodological standards and their adoption within the Technology &Digital (T&D) organization, the delivery of organization and cost efficiencies deriving from architecture rationalization
  • the establishment, evolution, and operation of T&D long-term planning, T&D road mapping, and T&D portfolio management processes – including improving budget forecasting accuracy and coordination of continuous costs efficiency interventions
  • ongoing management and evolution of foundational technical shared capabilities, that will be identified as part of the initial scope design work.

In this role, he/she will partner with the other Local, Segment, and Corporate T&D organizations as well as DLP Finance and other Lines of Business.

The position reports to the Vice President, Information Technology.

Key responsibilities:

Enterprise Architecture

  • Define and implement the DLP Enterprise Architecture Strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives and Tech strategy.
  • Lead the development and implementation of architecture standards and practices – by providing guidance to the architects of the individual DLP T&D teams and orchestrating architectural review gates.
  • Oversee the evaluation, selection, and design of technology and system solutions – encouraging the convergence towards Corporate/Segment platforms and solutions
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain key performance metrics for the architecture and portfolio management function – including cost savings.

Portfolio

  • Design, manage and evolve DLP T&D Portfolio management processes, including convergence and integration in Segment Portfolio management processes and integration and convergence with DLP Financial management processes.
  • Manage the overall DLP T&D Long Term Plan, ensuring coordination with site and other Lines of Business strategies and plans
  • Manage the DLP T&D portfolio, prioritizing strategic initiatives and balancing the portfolio for optimal return on investment.
  • Define and track Portfolio Health KPI’s and ensure adoption of defined standards within the DLP T&D organization

Shared capabilities

  • Identify foundational capabilities that are commonly leveraged by both the Back of House and Digital domains and are better operated centrally.
  • Ongoing operate and evolve such capabilities in line with Segment and DLP Architecture strategies, adopting new methodologies and processes (CI/CD, Offshoring, …) as a way to decrease cost, and improve speed and efficiency.
  • Partner with the segment and other parks to identify and pilot innovative technologies – in the context of DLP strategic business objectives and key projects

Your Profile :

  • Experience in driving Enterprise Architecture and Portfolio management efforts in medium/large size organization
  • Demonstrated capability in technology selection and implementation – including innovative technologies like AR, Generative AI, …
  • Experienced in both on premise and cloud environments
  • Disciplined and process oriented
  • Ability to operate in a large matrix organization and collaborate at various levels
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • An inspiring transformational leader with demonstrated coaching and mentoring skills
  • Outstanding communication abilities
  • Fluent English with a good command of French
  • BSc/BA in computer science, engineering, or relevant field. MSc/MA will be a plus
