*This position is 12 months fixed term contract.

As our International Marketing Specialist , you will establish Amazon as the first-choice grocery store for our customers worldwide. We are looking for an aspiring marketer to help us drive lifecycle marketing and promotions across our International business (Europe, Japan, Singapore). Candidates can be based in Spain (Madrid), Germany (Munich), UK (London), Italy (Milan) or France (Paris).

This role sits within a centralized International marketing team distributed across the EU and supporting Amazon Fresh online business, as well as third-party stores, such as Morrisons (UK), PAM (IT), etc. As marketing manager, you will work closely with colleagues from local marketing teams all over Europe and Asia and actively collaborate with colleagues from the central team.

Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for defining, implementing and optimizing the marketing campaigns for Amazon Fresh and Grocery Partners on Amazon Homepage, email and push notification across 7 countries, analyzing metrics and providing actionable insights into performance, as well as making recommendations on marketing plans. You will develop a deep understanding of the Amazon Fresh customers, supported by our customer insights team and local experts, allowing you to write marketing copy that resonates with our audience, and coordinate the localization and scaling of the content across our 7 countries.

The ideal candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and to flawlessly deliver a comprehensive marketing plan. He/she should be innovative and team oriented, and an effective communicator, metrics driven, with strong ownership and bias for action. You will need to be able to prioritize effectively and feel comfortable working with a varied set of tools.

Experience in marketing or e-commerce merchandising is a strong plus. Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with multiple teams. A day in the life
You will be coordinating and deploying marketing campaigns across 7 countries, tailoring the messages and targeting to each campaign objective: acquisition of new customers, retention, reactivation. You will monitor the performance of our campaigns, and assess the quality of the customer experience we deliver, to identify improvement opportunities. You will be a key player in developing the awareness and sales of Amazon Fresh and Grocery partners in Europe and Asia.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate of completion of studies
• Up to 2 years of relevant work experience in e-commerce, online merchandising and consumer marketing/sales
• English fluent (both written and oral)
• Project management/coordination skills
• Analytical skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in writing marketing copy for website and emails a strong plus
• Fluency in Spanish, Italian or German is a plus
• Familiarity with A/B content testing
• Familiarity with web and UX design
• Ability to leverage insights (qualitative and quantitative) to design and implement innovative growth programs
