Position Summary:
The Service Provider is assigned to one or multiple Service Provider partners in a given territory.
SP are to define and execute a strategy jointly with their service providers. The role is ultimately responsible for driving engagement, incremental pipeline and revenue by building and driving consumption of joint GTM services with the Service Provider partner Sell to, sell Through, sell with.
Build Pipeline and drive revenue against sales targets.
Ensure successful customer implementations through delivery of timely, relevant skills transfer to the partner.
Grow ecosystem of SP partners, enhancing capabilities required to sell entire Netapp portfolio
Responsibilities:
Build, manage and forecast pipeline in defined territory
Drive consumption of jointly developed service offerings with the SP and take to market
Accountable for partnership in defined territory within NetApp
Define and execute of GTM plan for each aligned Service Provider
Build influential relationships with sales, marketing and technical teams
Acquire new business and services
Grow and defend existing installed base
Ensure ecosystem alignment by account
Advocate for SP with NetApp teams in defined territory
Utlize account intelligence for defined territory to develop actionable sales plans
Forecast Sell to with accuracy to the DM
Monitor and provide insight into the SP business and technical service capability, financial results, and investment in selling Netapp products and services
Potential to engage with customers to support SP where no sales direct touch coverage
Build strategy and execute in defined territory
Drive partner performance and success in defined territory
Qualifications :
Proven enterprise strategic sales methodology
Ability to effectively interface and communicate at all levels within SP’s organization to include executive levels
Negotiate and resolve complex situations/opportunities to a positive outcome without damaging internal or external relationships.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Demonstrable understanding of the industry ecosystem to include partner business models, competitive landscape, and industry trends
In-depth knowledge of Cloud technologies and business models
Sales capabilities to enable a proper business forecasting and management
Knowledge of Netapp products and understanding of how Netapp products create value for customers
Ability to help SP communicate value proposition to customers
Understanding of SP and customers business needs
Prospecting skills – ability to develop SP
Ability to engage, excite, influence and coordinate both SP and Netapp functions even though they are not under his/her direct control through
Selling experience and ability to provide guidance to SP on selling and closing skills
Presentation skills in a 1-many environment to deliver Netapp messages and positioning to both SP and customers
