Solution Architect / Senior Consultant – Microsoft Technologies

The team works closely with sales, customer service, partners, customers and other technical support groups in cross-functional teams. Together, they manage the lifecycle of highly sophisticated, risk projects – from design to delivery.

A Solution Architect / Senior Consultant on Microsoft Technologies in Dell Technologies is in charge to lead technically and to participate both in presales and in delivery of Transformation projects (IT Transformation, Workforce Transformation, Digital Transformation). This position would be based 100% at customer site, a renowned cosmetics company. Travel in France and possibly EMEA expected (50%).

What you’ll achieve
As Solution Architect / Senior Consultant, you will supervise the project life cycle from initiation to completion to maintain customer fulfillment, mediating between internal technical team members and external parties while ensuring good communication and participation within internal technical teams: presales and delivery (IT Transformation, Workforce Transformation, Digital Transformation).

You will:

  • Capture customer requirements and to analyze the material provided by customers.
  • Construct complex service provider solutions in the IT services provider market.
  • Be able to understand and construct, tailor, and negotiate service contract SOW for both customer engagement and partner provisioning.
  • Require advanced understanding of profit and loss (P&L) and cash flow development, risk assessment, and partner cost management and business impact.

Essential requirements:

  • Ability to design an architecture. Solid consulting background and experience implementing and managing complex technology solution projects
  • Advanced skills in industry leading technology services tools (Quest, Binary Tree, Puppet …).
  • Broad knowledge of relevant Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Exchange, Skype for Business, System Center, Windows Server, Hyper-V, PowerShell, Office 365, Azure; Network; Storage; as well as conceptual understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, Business Intelligence, SharePoint
  • A Microsoft certification is preferred, with the ideal candidate possessing one of the following certifications: MCTS, MCITP, MCA, MCM, MCSA.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large and complex projects, achieve desired customer satisfaction from inception to deployment and to interface with technical pre sales.

Desirable Skills

  • Advanced analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills in cross functional project teams.
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment and demonstrate attentiveness to quality and productivity as well as new trend in technologies
  • Fluent in French, ability to work in English (Speaking, Reading, Writing)
