Job description
Your mission:
Ensure the smooth running of the Reception operations; (check-in, check-out, de-lodging …) according to the procedures in force.
Ensure that occupancy and sales are optimized and that a quality service is offered to customers (respect of standards).
Participate in the reception of VIPs and the processing of complaints.
Direct, coordinate and control the work of the Receptionists and Night-Auditors.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
CUSTOMER RELATIONS:
– Welcome customers and ensure their satisfaction during their stay
– Reception and follow-up of VIP and regular customers, follow-up of memberships in the hotel’s loyalty program.
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Follow-up on the implementation and respect of the Company’s standards.
– Allocate rooms, coordinate special attention (VIP treatment, special requests), organize the reception of groups.
– Ensuring the updating of customer files on the computer system.
– Maintain the reception and back office.
– Active participation in the application of the hotel’s commercial policy.
– Coordinate with the Technical Department and the Housekeepers the operations of blocking and unblocking of rooms for maintenance.
– Briefings during team changes to transmit instructions.
– Supervision of accounting operations specific to the department according to the procedures in force.
– Management of complaints.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
– Effectively distributes and directs work tasks among the receptionists to ensure customer satisfaction.
– Responsible for the good maintenance of his team, and the respect of the work tool.
– Place orders at the commissary and ensure the conformity of deliveries.
– Establish the schedules of presence of the Staff according to the activity.
– Ensures the integration and training of the personnel of his department.
– Ensures a perfect collaboration with the other departments of the hotel, coordinates the relations between the Reception and the Concierge Desk.
– Participate in the annual evaluation of the Reception staff, set objectives.
– Respects and enforces the Hotel’s internal rules and regulations.
– Follows and enforces preventive measures to avoid accidents.
PROFILE
With significant experience in the Reception area, you have a perfect command of English.
Dynamic, you like to take initiatives and make the link between day and night.
Mastery of Opera software is an asset.
Training and Education:
Bac 2 (BTS, DUT, DEUG)
Experience:
- Shift Leader or similar: 1 year
