Posting description

Our EMEA Fixed Income Macro Financing Sales Team is covering a broad range of clients across Banks, Insurance Companies, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Central Banks and Sovereign Wealth Funds. The team deals in mainly EMEA Developed Market Rates Assets – Sovereigns, Supranationals, Covered Bonds – and Global Emerging Market Fixed Income assets. We are fully integrated with the wider JP Morgan Macro Sales and Trading Teams, allowing us to provide a specialised and dedicated coverage. The Team leverages the research, flows and information of the underlying businesses, to deliver both bespoke financing solutions and flow liquidity to the firm’s key strategic partners.

Opportunity

You will work closely with multiple internal stakeholders’ teams and provide commentary, insight and market analysis, as well as managing the day-to-day flow activity with our Continental Europe based Financing franchise. You will expand relationships with both internal and external clients in order to facilitate their trading and financing strategies.

Job Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with clients to meet their daily trading and financing needs
  • You will enhance existing client’s relationship and building new ones to expand the breath of Financing in the Continental Europe
  • You will manage the Firm’s Financial Resources efficiently (Balance sheet, Capital, Liquidity)
  • You will be required to write intra-day market analysis by investigating flow trends, macro news and internal research
  • You should have an ability to manage risks in the relevant business and adhere within the applicable legal and regulatory rules
  • You should have a strong internal network across Fixed Income Macro Sales and Trading
  • You will be able to prioritise your time carefully and multitask between multiple client requests from both internal partners and external clients
  • You are proud of your ability to use technology to streamline and automate desk process where required
  • You will assist with the post trade process by ensuring the accuracy of all entries and to ensure internal controls are followed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Good market knowledge of the global financing markets as well as wider market spectrum (extensive experience in the Fixed Income Financing markets)
  • Experienced execution skills and knowledge of execution platforms / risk management protocols and procedures
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a pressured environment along with very strong teamwork skills
