DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior Programme Manager in the Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) team within our EU Global Fleet and Products Team. The Senior Fleet Solutions Manager will be responsible for testing, piloting, rolling out and expanding fleet products, services and programmes for our Amazon Logistics (AMZL) last mile fleet. Fleet products, services and programmes include damage detection systems and maintenance and repairs products for our vehicles to support Delivery Service Providers (DSPs). Further innovative solutions that improve the uptime of our vehicles will be researched, developed and deployed by this individual. The optimal fit for this role will be a candidate willing to work with the internal teams (Workplace Health and Safety, Environment, Operations, Process Engineering, etc.) and external vendors to launch and expand fleet solutions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Launch and Expansion for fleet products, such as automated vehicle inspection systems, fleet service centers at the delivery stations and mobile maintenance services; responsible from design, implementation and operationalization.
  • Align with internal stakeholders and prepare the relevant approvals for on-site projects
  • Work directly with suppliers and contractors to negotiate on fleet services and products.
  • Coordinate the EU wide rollout of services and their continuous improvement.

About the team
Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles ‘last mile’ delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers’ delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions.

The GFP Team defines the strategy of fleet service, maintenance and repairs, owns the processes, infrastructure and tech required for the DSPs to operate the last mile fleet safely and economically. The team owns the development, piloting and integration of all service, maintenance and repairs programmes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree.
  • Relevant experience in product or programme management, product marketing, business development or technology.
  • Relevant experience in fleet management and automotive industry experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree.
  • Relevant experience in the Last Mile Delivery Industry.
  • Relevant experience in teamwork.
  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
  • Relevant experience launching buildings or projects at delivery sites or warehouses.
