Prerequisites:
Confirmed experience in aquariology (animal care and technique)
Hold professional diving training (level 2 and class 0 mention B minimum)
Teamwork and management
Be driven by the fact of transmitting to the public the values of conservation and protection of aquatic ecosystems
Knowledge of technical maintenance
Significant knowledge of office software Fluency in English
Main responsibilities:
Supervision of the team of aquariologists and trainees, in agreement with the capacity holders
Operational management of aquarium maintenance
Health monitoring of animal populations
Maintaining the quality of exhibitions
Food preparation and feeding
Maintenance of filtration systems and technical equipment
Analysis of water quality
Acclimatization of species and maintenance of quarantine
Training and enrichment activities
Participate in raising awareness among visitors, particularly during customer experience
Administrative management and computer data entry
Follow-up of technical interventions and link with service providers
Minimum experience:
5 years minimum in aquarium, minimum Bac+2 in the field of biology.
Qualities :
Good relationship with employees and the public, team spirit and spirit of initiative, methodology, autonomy, rigour, creativity, patience, good physical condition.
Specific conditions:
– Ile de France (Marne la Vallée)
– CDI 35h/week. Shift work on weekends and public holidays, night on-call duty
– €2,500 gross
– Restaurant vouchers, one-off bonuses, mutual insurance
