Job Description

Within the distribution and legal department of the French entity, your mission will consist in assisting the jurist for the following tasks:

  • Program: drafting, analysis and follow-up of broadcast rights purchase and pre-purchase contracts, executive production contracts, dubbing and subtitling contracts, etc. ;
  • Marketing/Ad sales: administration and management of marketing and digital operations (contests, database updates, etc.), drafting, analysis and follow-up of exchange and festival partnership contracts;
  • Regulatory: monitoring, participation in the production of annual CSA reports, legal research and drafting of memos on specific issues, particularly in intellectual property law, audiovisual regulations, distribution, etc. ;
  • Contracts: monitoring of internal signature processes for various contracts

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in audiovisual law or copyright law
  • First experience in the legal department of a company in the media sector or in a law firm specializing in audiovisual or literary and artistic property law
  • Rigorous and autonomous
  • Motivated by the entertainment industry
  • Mastery of legal English is a must
  • Proficiency with office tools (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
