Job Description
Position summary:
This internship is integrated into the marketing department of the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) business unit. The intern will be closely involved in a broad variety of marketing activities, such as the launch of a new treatment called “Vumerity”. We count on an active participation in different kinds of team meetings and expect a contribution to brainstorming and idea generation. The intern will have the opportunity to work with both international teams and cross-functional, local teams (digital, sales, medical, …)
Responsibilities:
- Support the prelaunch marketing campaign for “Vumerity” in Belgium.
- Assist with content generation on the MS portfolio for omnichannel communication.
- Support development of value adding services for patients and Health Care Professionals to facilitate the use of the new subcutaneous formulation of “Tysabri”.
- Assist the digital campaign on “Plegridy” towards a well targeted customer segment.
- Assisting the marketing team with day-to-day administrative tasks like eg. review of promotional materials
- Perform market analysis, prepare reporting and research on competition.
- Preparing marketing presentations for our sales team.
- Assist in developing marketing campaigns when it comes to CLEO, our application for MS patients and caregivers.
Qualifications
Profile:
Being a pro-active, independent, enthusiastic, eager-to-learn and curious student in the last phase of your study or recent graduate. Interested in innovation, patient care and/or the healthcare industry.
It is essential to provide:
- Applied understanding of basic marketing principles
- Proactivity and enjoyment with learning new topics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability. Comfortable with multitasking
- Excellent teamwork and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently.
- Languages: high level English, French and Dutch since the role involves communication with international teams and the local sales team.
- Good knowledge and feels comfortable working in a digital environment (Office package: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
