Exciting opportunity for an Associate to join the team covering primarily Nordic Corporate clients, focusing on FX & Interest Rate products.

Job Summary

The European Corporate FX & Interest Rate Sales Team is responsible for marketing FX & Interest Rate risk management solutions to clients in France, BeNeLux and Nordics clients. The products that we are responsible for include rates derivatives (interest, inflation and cross currency basis), FX spot, forwards and options including M&A hedging products such as Deal Contingent Forwards.

We are a markets based private side team that works closely with investment banking, corporate finance and DCM and cover flow FX & interest rate products as well as structured solutions which we develop in close cooperation with trading and structuring.

Job Responsibilities

The opportunity is to join the team as an Associate covering primarily Nordic Corporate clients, focusing on FX & Interest Rate products. You will be expected to work in partnership with the rest of the team, which offers a multi-product sales offering to the client base, but also work closely with Investment Banking, DCM, Trading & Structuring to deliver JPMs full suite of products.

Key responsibilities will include (and not limited to):

  • Direct Sales Coverage of Corporate clients across the entire Nordic region
  • Marketing and sales of FX & Interest Rate Derivative products

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

You will have an enquiring mind, perseverance and the ability to handle a large amount of information; a high technical ability is essential to this role. You will also:

  • Be fluent in Swedish, ideally also French.
  • Confident technical ability in FX & Interest Rate products.
  • Previous relevant Sales experience covering corporate clients.
  • Ability to understand simple as well as complex derivative products and ability to price them.
  • Able to deal confidently with people at all levels in the organization.
