Job Description
The Production Logistics Coordinator assists with the planning and execution of all service and support functions for NBC of the Paris 2024 Olympic Summer Games. Areas of support include NBC operations located at the International Broadcast Center, Olympic Venues, Warehouse facility and other locations specified by NBC in support of the broadcast.
Main responsibilities:
- Liaison with Paris Organizing Committee (POCOG) and Olympic Broadcast Services (OBS) for goods and services provided to NBC
- Support facility fit out and tear down of furniture, décor, cleaning, office & non-technical supplies at the Warehouse, IBC, Venues, and other locations specified by NBC
- Assist with vendor relations including registering accounts and verifying goods received
- Lead the sourcing of all non-technical goods and services including Environmental Health & Safety, Medical equipment and supplies, Office Supplies, Furniture, etc.
- Oversee receiving of goods and services and the tracking of invoicing for all purchases
- Coordinate support services such as cleaning, waste management, heavy machinery, etc.
- Supervise the IBC and/or Venue support desk requests for all Production teams
- Assist Management with Team oversight and scheduling
- Organize and maintain records and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sports broadcasting or production related field and/or large event project management experience
- Fluent written and spoken in French and English
- English computer proficient and able to work in Microsoft Office programs & familiar with basic database software preferred
- Physically demanding position must be able to lift at least 12 Kilos
- Needs to have a strong ability to understand tasks delegated to them quickly
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required
- Must be willing to work long days, weekends, and nights and willing to dedicate themselves to the project for the full duration
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to drive a work provided vehicle is preferred
