Stage d’une durée de 6 mois basé a Neuilly-sur-Seine

The intern will support the elaboration of corporate strategy and accelerate the development and execution of growth opportunities, such as the development of other ancillary businesses identification of new markets/territories and access to innovation and new technologies (partnership or investment strategies in start-ups and/or other innovative eco-systems).

The intern will provide Director Strategy & Diversification (S&D) with the resource required to perform timely analysis of market opportunities, build business cases, and execute plans for growth beyond our traditional business models.

Primary Objectives of the Role:

• Contribute to the long-term strategic planning process of WB Entertainment France & Benelux
• Provide local management with strategic insight and analysis of the competitive landscape
• Assist in the timely execution of growth opportunities in cooperation with key local and Burbank stakeholders
• Monitor/track the progress of WB Entertainment France against strategic objectives/targets

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist Director S&D in preparing strategic presentations for Senior Management and Customers’ meetings.
• Produce weekly reviews covering media, technology, finance, politics, key players and flag critical stories as they arise. Track key film/TV show releases and industry events; providing useful insights to the Country Manager when needed.
• Prepare industry and cross-company benchmarks to optimize traditional businesses’ performance
• Gather and synthesize key market information to help evaluate trends and growth opportunities for WB Entertainment France & Benelux
• Build business models to support business development initiatives
• Set up a weekly watch on startups/innovations that could help WB to accelerate existing businesses or develop a new revenue stream
• Identify, analyze and pitch startups/innovations to internal stakeholders for potential partnerships
• Write a weekly newsletter on innovations and new technologies related to our businesses

Profile:

• Preparing Diploma in Strategy and/or Innovation (Bac+5)
• Having a previous experience (internship, apprenticeship) in Corporate business development or strategic marketing development in a blue-chip group and/or Consulting would be appreciated

• Strategic thinker with good problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work within an extremely fast-paced and dynamic environment that operates cross-divisionally
• Strong analytical skills – the ability to critically analyze information, see the “big picture” and identify key messages
• Financial analysis, likely to be backed up by qualifications
• Extremely high standards of confidentiality and trustworthiness
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
• Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
• Openness to learning new things
• Fluent French & English required
