As the HR Advisor, you will assist the team to provide and manage a full HR support service to the business units across France and over time other countries. This role will touch all elements of the employee life cycle. You will ensure the highest level of customer service is always provided to not only your fellow HR colleagues but also managers and employees within the group. You will lead all aspects of the Human Resources administrative procedures and ensure that labour policies are implemented.
What you will be doing
- Issuing contracts, extension of contracts and providing with addendum and other paperwork and process handling to ensure a professional and successful onboarding of new employees
- Support all administrative tasks such as data audits to maintain compliance and accurate processing of employee information in the Global HR system
- Processing leavers and employee life cycle changes in a timely manner, including issuing the relevant paperwork
- Assist new employees and line managers with first-line queries regarding their role within the business and set up and audit electronic personnel files
- Working closely with the local payroll and reward teams to ensure all new starters, changes and leavers are processed accurately and timely
- Referencing new employees and providing written references for ex-employees per country requirements
- Coaching line managers or employees directly on employee relation matters and staff development
- Be the first point of contact for any adhoc employee queries
- Issuing reports from the HRIS when required
- Support the People Director and People Business Partner with administrative tasks as required
What we are looking for
- Strong communication skills – Fluency in both English and French is required, both verbal and written
- Outstanding administration skills and solid attention to detail
- Prior experience working with the processing French-based employees
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Teams and Excel
- SAGE PEOPLE HRIS experience is advantageous, however experience with using any HRIS is crucial
- Have a flexible approach, able to meet multiple timelines across different time zones and work seamlessly with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work remotely; and closely with colleagues based globally
- Experience in interpreting, advising and implementing agreements and procedures
- You will need to be able to research, analyse and reason logically within tight and conflicting timeframes
